Finished Art Work
My Finished Art (Fine Art) Photography coverage is a natural extension of my landscape photography work. I see my fine art photography as a vehicle to connect with people through eye pleasing, thought provoking, awe inspiring, happy memory jogging images from the natural and man made world that surrounds us:
- a dazzling sunset…
- the awesome colors that Autumn brings to us every year…
- the intricate detail found in a single flower blossom…
- gently cascading waterfall…
- settings found in the town, county and state parks all around us…
- abstract renderings of images (playing with colors and shapes) that make you pause and wonder what you are actually looking at.
- and so much more…
Archival Quality Materials
My finished artwork photography work consists of exhibiting and selling one of a kind or limited edition “Archival Quality” (a.k.a. Conservation Quality) ready to frame or framed fine art image photography to individual and commercial customers.
“Archival Quality” prints are made using traditional silver halide (photographic print) or proven archival quality/rated large format inkjet prints on various forms of paper and on canvas. For the right image canvas prints add a painting like dimension to finished art work.
Finished artwork can…
- be used to add a personalized and unique decorating touch to an individual’s home or office
- make for a great personalized and unique gift for special family and friends
- capture and preserve the natural beauty, awe, wonder and peace found from within.
I rely on trusted third party businesses (mostly local providers) to provide me with archival quality print enlargements and framing materials. I seek to work with businesses that place value on offering quality goods at a reasonable price with excellent customer service.
How I Capture Images (Camera Equipment Does Make a Difference)
I use high resolution digital SLR cameras to capture my fine art photography images so most if not all of my fine art image offerings are suitable for high quality print enlargements up to and beyond 20” x 30” size. Greater enlargement sizes do depend on how much is cropped/used from original full size frame of image.
What sizes and forms of finished art work do I create and sell?
I sell matted archival quality prints of my work in 8″ x 10″ print (11″ x 14″ mat), 8″ x 12″ print (14″ x 18″ mat), 11″ x14″ print (16″ x 20″ mat) sizes and larger (12″ x 18″, 16″ x 20″ etc.) on request. Pricing starts at $40 for archival quality 8″ x 10″ print in 11″ x 14″ mat and increases according to print/mat size and whether optional framing is requested or not.
You can optionally purchase my matted fine art images as framed pieces of artwork at an additional cost.
If you choose to print on canvas the print can be framed at an extra cost (through me or on your own) or simply delivered to you in a ready to hang state by having the image printed and stretched on canvas with a “Gallery Wrap” finish.

The Future of My Fine Art Photography Work
I will continue to expand the content and scope of my Fine Art photography work.
I have found that there is a phenomenal power behind mixing images with words (memorable phrases/quotes) to create inspirational thoughts, feelings and action in others. This is kind of my personal take on the saying “a picture is worth a thousand words”.
With this idea in mind, I have given thought to publishing a simple eye pleasing coffee table book of my most inspirational imagery coupled with timeless words, catch phrases and quotes to live by. I believe a book of images with appropriate uplifting, thought provoking words, would serve as an inspiration (lift the spirit that resides in all of us) for anyone that took time to pause, see, read and ponder the content of such a book. I’ll keep you posted on this idea as it takes shape in the future.
